BFO 9/29/17

Title? Am I my titles or is my title just a role I play. My conversation yesterday got me thinking about how I introduce myself. "Hello, I am Tom Bliss." Then they ask, "What do you do?" My reply usually starts with, "I am a ..." With so much of this world based on perception, how do we really see ourselves and at the core what is our title and what do we identify as the prized title? What is your most prized title? Mine is 1. Child of God (even though this is usually my least worn title. Badge is so shiny from little wear. 2. Father and 3. Husband (Partner) I have worn the husband title before but it was not viewed as an equal so that is why I qualified it. All His best and Blissfully Health to you, Tom
My BFO (Blinding Flash of the Obvious) for today is What team do I compete for? In a get-to-know-you discussion with Vaughn Thompson, we discovered we both are very competitive people. My challenge to him and myself was then For what team do we compete for? Team self, Team spouse, team business, team unity and/or Team Christ. What is my priority or my team loyalty?
